To edit existing content, you simply need to find the page displaying that content then :
- click on the edit tab at the top;
- or in the case of content in panels, move your mouse over the pane (small section) until you see the word edit appear e.g. see “[edit node] in the image below
In some cases, finding the content you want to edit may not be so easy.
For instance, you only ever see press report, or useful links in lists and when you click on the title, it takes you to another website, not the content page. Also, finding details of a past meeting to add in the minutes might be problematic, since past meetings are only listed to the general public if they have minutes!
In that case you find the content you are looking using the CONTENT –> LIST CONTENT option in the administrator’s menu. Follow the instructions for your specific content types if you have difficulty with any of the input fields.
Deleting content
Whilst in edit mode, scroll to the bottom of the page, you will see three buttons, “Save”, “Preview” and “Delete”. Click on the delete button. You will be taken to a confirmation page, click on “Delete” again to confirm your action
