Pentland Bridge Club JG300 Competition
The JG 300 Teams of 4 competition was held by the Pentland Bridge Club on 25th January 2007 as planned. It was won by a team of Jean Newport, Ann Blott, George Armstrong and George Graham.
The JG300 cup will be presented on May 31st to the winners by Enid and Jim Perrett who were founder members of the club (?in 1972) and are still regular players (now both over 90).
A plain solid silver cup 11.5 cm high with elegant handles, made in 1907 (sheffield mark), has been purchased and will be mounted on a turned wooden plinth with an appropriately inscribed silver label attached. It is planned to photograph the occasion in May when further information about the club will be available.
