Publicity boost for Juniper Green 300
3rd June 2007

A bottle of Juniper Green gin for the Napier University students to thank them for their help with publicity during the JG300 celebrations

On June 3rd 2007, the Napier University students who had helped with JG300 publicity attended a final de-brief. They spent some time looking around the exhibition which they had helped to publicise. Their methods of advertising events included posters with excellent graphics, colour coding and font design. There were slightly different designs for outdoor and indoor events, musical and spoken activities though the Juniper Green 300 logo and the website address remained on all publicity materials.

The students as part of their course gave advice, both theory and practice, on banner design, poster creation and media interaction. The professional standard of this group of students was excellent throughout and we were delighted to learn that they had received the best mark for their team presentation by their tutors. JG300 has enjoyed a good relationship with the local Currie and Balerno News monthly journal and Edinburgh Evening News with many stories covered in these papers (see In the news and the C&B News links elsewhere on this website for more details). The gala celebrations were also highlighted on Talk Radio 107.

The Royal Warrant awarded to Juniper Green gin in 2007

One other big publicity boost occurred halfway through the year when one of our Gold sponsors, the London and Scottish International Limited company, were awarded a royal warrant for their supply of Juniper Green gin to HRH Prince Charles. A special label for the bottles of JG gin can be seen in the image below.
