St Andrew's Night + 1
1st December 2007

Bernard Povey with great support from his immediate family put together a superb evening's entertainment on Saturday December 1st in Juniper Green Village Hall.

First up singing and playing his drum was Rob Cleland.

Rob was followed by Jim Hunter and Angus Swan a duet of fiddle and accordion.

Then the Savoy Singers entertained with many songs from the songbook of Rabbie Burns.

A wine and cheese interval gave plenty of time for the audience of close on one hundred local folk to meet and greet one another.

The Village Hall itself was looking good with a traditional decoration provided by the Povey sisters. A raffle was held in aid of the Scottish Deaf/Blind Association and a sum of £ 255 was raised on the night for this most worthy charity.
