Bloomiehall Park will have been in public ownership for 100 years this year, 2012. To celebrate the centenary, a group of local residents, the Community Council and the local primary school have come together to arrange a week of activities centred on the park. These are supported by the C&B News, the Pentlands Neighbourhood Partnership, Juniper Green's Community Fund and by generous local businesses.
These activities, which are free, include an art exhibition, a nursery fun day, fitness sessions, kite flying workshop, a five-a-side football tournament, a history and nature walk, a parade and school fair. There are more - please see the "Future Events" listing on our menu for further details.
Some of the events require to be booked. Please do so early to avoid disappointment.
We hope to see local folk and friends - from Baberton Mains as well as Juniper Green there!
