As you leave the park traveling eastwards you pass the Village Hall on your left. It has been the scene of many happy occasions over the years: wedding receptions in the 1930s, dances during and after the War and parties for the young folk more recently. It still provides facilities for dance classes, general village celebrations and houses a rifle club.
