INTRODUCTION

Community Councils are groups of people who care about their community and want to make their area a better place in which to live. They are apolitical (ie do not have any declared allegiance to any political party) and their role is representative. They are asked to put forward the views of local people to the local authority, NHS Lothian and the police. Your new Community Council serving Juniper Green and Baberton Mains aims to be your voice in local matters. To do so, we would like to know what your priorities are for the area. It would be helpful if you would complete and return this questionnaire to us.
