We know that Sir John started to enclose his land with walls. He repaired and looked after them and capped them with divots dug from the Currie Muir. Could these be the originals?

Follow the footpath up the hill. It is a short cut to Torphin quarry which lots of people still use. It would have been used by Wattie Wadie who lived up in Torphin.
