In this area Wattie Wadie carried on his blacksmithing and horse-doctoring. He must have tumbled up and down to Woodhall House many times for he did a lot of repairs to Sir John Foulis's carriage and to his sledges used for agricultural work. The account books also give lots of details of potions he made for Sir John's nags when they got ill.
